An exercise to improve executive function

We can improve children's executive function skills by helping them understand how their brain works, what executive function skills are and how to identify what skill they need to use and when. Teaching children to identify the parts of a task, as well as when and how they will tackle each task, is a helpful way to encourage metacognitive thinking.
